Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Carnegie & the US Congress
David Barton - 02/17/2014
WallBuilders recently acquired a 1907 letter from Andrew Carnegie related to a special work by Thomas Jefferson.
Carnegie was a wealthy entrepreneur and public benefactor from the early 1900s who started a university as well as 2,800 public libraries. His letter was thanking Congressman William H. Graham of Pennsylvania for the gift of an original work by Jefferson.
